- The Standing Together Against Rape (STAR) program will continue in its current location, and run by the One Place Family Justice Center (CRISIS LINE: 334-213-1227, Main Number: 888-908-7273)
- Clients seeking substance abuse treatment should contact the Chemical Addictions Program (334-269-2150) or the Reclamation Center of Alabama (334-676-3774)
- Clients seeking housing program assistance should contact the Montgomery Area Mental Health Authority (334-279-7830)
Founded in 1971, the Lighthouse Counseling Center was established as a gap agency to provide services to youth and adolescents who were experiencing substance abuse and other related problems. The center provided services for substance abuse treatment, housing for homeless, HIV/AIDS prevention and rape crisis intervention counseling for individuals and their families in Autauga, Elmore, Lowndes, Montgomery, Butler and Crenshaw counties.
